Wedding: Alan & Daniella

Alan and Daniella's wedding was the last one of my many September weddings last year and were married at the Woodlands Park Hotel very bright and early on a Sunday morning. Here's a few pages from their bespoke album which I thought showed all the emotions of the day beautifully.
After the civil ceremony, Daniella's uncle incorporated a few beautiful Jewish traditions into their day..

South Africa - February 2008

I recently went back to South Africa and as it may be several years before I return to my old hometown, I wanted to document some of my favourite beaches there. Here's a few from sunrise at Umtentweni beach:

We took a drive all the way down the coast as far as Port Edward and stopped at all our favourite beaches on the way back - Trafalgar, Southbroom, Kids Beach and Ramsgate. These are from Palm Beach:

SWPP Convention

I attended my first SWPP Convention at the Novotel, Hammersmith from the 17-21 January 2008 and heard some amazing speakers. I'm so excited about all the knowledge imparted over the last few days and know 2008 is going to be an amazing year.

Wedding: Congratulations Greg & Amy!

Our friends Greg and Amy were married at the Merton Registry Office on Saturday. I feel very priviledged to have photographed this part of their wedding for them. Here's a few of my favourites:

Don and Michelle were married near my home town in South Africa in 2004 on a beautiful, HOT, summers day. I was very priviledged to have been their photographer and we all had a great time dancing the night away under African skies.

I'm a member of the SWPP & BPPA

I'm pleased to say that I recently jointed the SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers) and the BPPA (British Professional Photographers Association) and will proudly be adhering to their strict Code of Conduct.

By choosing a SWPP and BPPA photographer clients are assured not only of hiring a talented photographer (me!) but of my continued education and development through seminars and knowledge sharing and networking with fellow wedding photographers and staying up to date on the latest trends and keeping my photography fresh and contemporary.

I'm looking forward to attending my first SWPP Convention at the Novotel, Hammersmith from the 17-21 January 2008. So many great photographers will be presenting seminars and sharing their experiecnes and I'm looking forward to meeting and hearing from them :-)

Catching Up!

Wow.. what an amazing summer seaon I've had. I've photographed loads of lovely wedddings, met amazing couples and had a wonderful time being there capturing those special moments. Promise to try and catch up and share some favourite images from Summer 2007 with you in the next few weeks!

Wedding: Paddy & Liz

Paddy and Liz were married on a very cold Friday afternoon at the beautiful Wandsworth Registry Office, which was followed by their wedding celebration on Saturday at The Hilton in Cobham with many of their guests having travelled from Ireland and Canada.
Katie, from Wedding by Design did the interior designing for their venue, and look how special the lighting made this room. I look forward to working with you again in the near future Katie!

Wedding: Andrew & Jacqueline

Andy & Jax were married on Saturday at the Merton Registry Office..

And there were plenty of emotions on the day.. lots of laughter and tons of tears of happiness.. (I even had to hide my tears behind the camera when Jax struggled through the tears to complete the vows they'd written for each other! Ahhh..)

Their wedding reception followed at the gorgeous Cannizaro House, a real local gem!
