Portraits: Jaren

I had the amazing chance to photograph 8 week old Jaren with his mommy yesterday and I just couldn't wait to share these images with you. Isn't he just adorable!?

Thank you so much Bev and Jaren.. I'm looking forward to photographing the whole family a little later this year.

Wedding: Satish & Asha, Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford

I recently photographed Satish & Asha's Hindu wedding ceremony at the Hari Krishna Temple at Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford. I loved how colourful and bright everything was and had a wonderful time photographing the ceremony and details.

Here are a few of my favourites:

Thank you's
The
Hari Krishna Temple - Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford. Commentary throughout the ceremony was provided in English where possible so we could follow the meanings and symbolism of rite. Thank you!

A big thank you to Satish and Asha for letting me be there to photograph this special event in their lives. Thank you! I wish you all the very best for a happy future together - may the priest's blessing of 11 children indeed come true for you if you so wished

:-)

Wedding: Martyn & Carole, Bicester

Okay, so I'm waaaay behind with my blogging again, but it's all wonderful because it means I've been super busy doing what I love!

Here's a few favourites from Martyn & Carole's recent wedding at the Registry Office in Bicester. Since they both play in a brass band and met one day at band practice, where more appropriate for them to get married then on a bandstand surrounded by their friends, family and of course fellow band members.

This was the cutest reading and enactment ever of "How much do you love me?"

Thank you's
A big thank you to the the Tewkwsbury Town Band and the Kennington (Oxford) Band for the lovely accompanying music.
And of course a very big thank you to Martyn and Carole for sharing their special day with me. Thank you!!

Seminar: Double Talk by Joe Buissink & Yervant

The MPA (Master Photographers Association) hosted Double Talk by two of my all time favourite photographers, Joe Buissink and Yervant at The Hilton, Croydon.

It was an amazing morning and Joe and Yervant was absolutely brilliant. I've *loved* Joe Buissink's work for ages now so was really excited to be able to hear him in person. They both showed us some inspiring slideshows of their photography, and as is very differant and how they approach wedding photography discussed how they work.

Joe shared with us some exclusive images from some of the weddings which he has shot (he's been a favorite wedding photographer among many celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey, Brendan Fraser, Kelsey Grammer, Hillary Swank & Chad Lowe, Christina Applegate, Jenny Garth & Peter Facinelli, Christina Aguilera and more..) as well as some from his latest project - still a 'fresh of the plane' shoot with Christina Aguilera and her production team on location from which they will produce exclusive GraphiStudio books for each of the team as a thank you and momento of their time with her. Some awesome work! Yervant showed us how he would post-produce them to a world class standard.

It was inspiring to see these two and how dedicated they are to teaching and sharing their experiences.

Wedding: Alex & Salome, Braintree

Here's a few favourites from Alex and Salome's wedding a couple of weekends ago at Fennes Estate. It was such a beautiful day we all thought that summer had come early!

The whole of Fennes Estate is lovely and it seems was designed with beautiful photographic opportunities as far as you go! The rooms are all very elegant and beautiful.

Another wedding cake shot with a difference

Congratulations Salaome & Alex! I wish you all the very best for a happy and fun filled future together.

Thank you's
Front of house manager on the day was Carlos. He and his team really looked after everyone so nicely. Thank you!

Music on the day was provided by Paul Arnold - and it enhanced the beautiful setting and made it feel all the the more special for it!
