Seminar: Jerry Ghionis, Australian Master Photographer

I had the privilege of attending a seminar presented by Jerry Ghionis, voted one of the world’s top ten wedding photographers by American Photo Magazine, on Monday.

Jerry is such an inspirational photographer and I've been following his work for a couple of years now (I love his Pic Pockets - esp. the Ordinary to Extraordinary range: "Wedding photographers are often presented with less than desirable locations, confined spaces and challenging lighting situations. Jerry Ghionis is the master at turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.") and so was pleased to be able to see the master at work!
Here's one of my images inspired by some of his work: Spicer Hallfield hosted the seminar - click here for their article about the seminar, including a few images from the day.

It was lovely too to have a chance to catch up with some from the networking group as we've all had a busy couple of months. I'm really excited and looking forward to putting into practice some of the new techniques I've learnt from the seminar!

Wedding: Andy & Kim

Much congratulations to the lovely Kim and Andy who got married on Saturday at the Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham. They met 15 years ago and have been engaged for 14 of those.. it was so special to see how they're still clearly very much in love and having fun together.
I hope you two had a wonderful day with your friends and family and it was all just as you'd dreamed of. Much love and happiness for the future! x

A very big thank you to Judy, James and his team at the Woodlands Park Hotel for taking such great care of me.
